Trust (verb): believe in the reliability, truth, or ability of. (source: Google)

It’s a loop. You have to give first to receive it. And it’s a must for leaders who desire to be influential. It’s funny, however, when I hear them whine about their teams who’re not capable or live up to their expectations. Why would they when they clearly sense a lack of trust in you?

Entrust them with responsibility and the faith that they can deliver their best. You’ll be surprised by what they can achieve. And the more you trust them, the more they trust you.

It’s a loop. And the only person who can build or break that loop is you, the leader.
